Why this workshop is different

Not a pep talk. A plan.

Most college planning presentations tell students to work hard, get good grades, and apply early. Students already know that. What they don't know is how the system actually works — and what specific moves in high school make the difference between a student who arrives at college prepared and one who arrives overwhelmed.

This workshop gives them the inside knowledge — drawn from twenty years in financial aid, career services, student success, and the classroom — in a format that is practical, honest, and immediately actionable.

In-person delivery

We come to your school. No travel required from your students or staff.

Student-focused

Content is delivered directly to students in language they can understand and act on — not just parents.

Parent bonus

Every workshop includes access to a free FAFSA webinar for parents of attending students — at no additional cost.

This workshop is for every student — not just those headed to elite universities. Whether your students are planning for a four-year university, a community college transfer, or a faith-based institution, the strategies taught here apply to any student who wants to graduate with a degree, a direction, and as little debt as possible.

Workshop topics

What students will walk away with.

Every workshop is built around the Direction-Positioning-Stewardship framework — giving students a clear picture of where they're headed, how to use high school strategically, and how college actually gets paid for.

How to explore career options with intention — before committing to a major or a school

Why what you do in high school matters more than most students realize — and how to use it strategically

How college credit can be earned in high school — at a fraction of what it costs after graduation

What scholarships are really looking for — and how to position yourself now, not senior year

The difference between a student who did things in high school and a student who built a story — and how to be the second one
